Citales Games and Perp Games are releasing Witch the Showdown into Early Access on November 19th.
Following the successful launch of its demo on Steam earlier this year, the high difficulty parry-action deckbuilder will soon be available for players to take on the role of powerful Witches, ready to battle formidable boss-level opponents in explosive, tactical fights.
In Witch the Showdown, fighting your way to the top is the name of the game. Players will need to build and manage their deck effectively to take on powerful enemies.
In addition to content featured in the current demo, the Early Access version of the game will introduce a variety of new and formidable foes, along with new cards to enhance and hone your deck.
Designed for fans of intense action and competitive play, key features include:
- Fast-paced or turn-based – Whether you prefer the strategic pacing of a turn-based match or a fast-paced explosion of might and magic, there is a mode to fit all skill sets.
- Deckbuilding delights – Perfect your precise parries, build shield-smashing mana, and unleash deadly attacks against powerful bosses using your deck strategically.
- Take on Duel Mode – Jump straight into the action whilst you master the cards, their abilities, and finesse flawless parries with pre-built decks.
- Tournament Mode – Face off against a roster of relentless rivals. Hand-pick your deck to match your playstyle, earn credits to unlock new cards and relics upon each victory, and fight your way to the top.
- Meet the crew – Featuring a unique art-style rooted in contemporary anime, play as Luze and new character Neon. Battle them through tournaments and unlock their dedicated Manga.
The title will fully launch across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2027.
