Gabriel’s Games announced Soulstonia, a cozy idle RPG simulation for PC and Mac where recruited Summoners can explore, train, gather resources, and keep busy on their own.
The Soulstonia Steam page is live today and open for wishlists, alongside the newly released Pre-Alpha Gameplay with Developer Commentary, offering an extended look at the game in its current stage of development.
Your Summoners have a mind of their own.
Players can take direct control of any Summoner, gather the party together for an adventure, or leave them to their own devices. Left to themselves, Summoners can explore nearby areas, gather resources, train skills, and find things to do based on their abilities and surroundings. Take back control at any time.
Every new save generates a different Soulstonia across five regions, changing where settlements, roads, resources, enemies, and points of interest appear. Players gradually uncover the world through fog of war, discovering new locations, resources, threats, and opportunities along the way.
The world has a life of its own, too. Changing weather, roaming enemies, shifting resources, and world events can disrupt the party’s plans and give players new reasons to change course.
“I wanted to make an RPG where your characters don’t just stand around waiting for you,” said Gabriel Langlois, founder of Gabriel’s Games and developer of Soulstonia. “You can take control whenever you want, but if you leave your Summoners alone, they’ll keep training, gathering, and making progress. Building a party becomes as much about discovering what each Summoner is good at as deciding what you want them to become.”
Soulstonia features more than 20 combat, collection, and crafting skills, allowing players to specialize individual Summoners through activities ranging from Woodcutting, Fishing, and Thieving to Smithing, Magic, and Summoning.
Collected Soulstones allow Summoners to summon creatures that can fight and gather resources alongside them, turning one adventurer into a growing force of allies.
Species, personality traits, skills, equipment, and personal dreams give each Summoner different strengths and priorities as the party grows.

The Pre-Alpha Gameplay with Developer Commentary provides an extended, developer-led look at Soulstonia in its current stage of development, including exploration, progression, crafting, combat, autonomous Summoners, and procedural world generation.
Soulstonia is currently in development for PC and Mac and will be free to play. The game will first launch through Steam Early Access before its eventual 1.0 release, with optional supporter and digital content planned separately.
