Nukuna Interactive and Ivy Juice today launched a free demo for Jo & Rubi: A Cozy Expedition on Steam. The demo lets players explore the game’s full first chapter ahead of the full PC release.
Already well received on iOS and Android, Jo & Rubi is a short, low-stress archaeology story following a curious kid and their loyal robin sidekick through handcrafted mini-games designed to feel good rather than test your reflexes. The game was developed in collaboration with an archaeologist and a media pedagogue.
About Jo & Rubi: A Cozy Expedition
Jo & Rubi follows Jo and their robin companion Rubi through a short archaeology story across three chapters: a warm family home, a lakeside research center, and a real dig site. Players sort artefacts, tidy gardens, pull trash from the ocean, and unearth buried secrets — 19 handcrafted mini-games in total. The full game can be completed in one sitting.
