Solo developer Buri Games has announced that PIERCING, a rhythm-action game for PC, will launch on Steam on Friday, November 13, 2026. A new trailer has also been released.
Story
You are Lin, a young woman who works as a tailor. Your hometown has been destroyed by monsters that appeared out of nowhere. As you flee with your childhood friend Asha, a strange Sage appears before you. The Sage offers you food and water in exchange for playing a game. The penalty for losing: a piercing.
About the Game
PIERCING is a rhythm-action game where you smash every panel to the beat. Break all of the connected panels in one continuous path, then shatter the red devil statue to clear the stage. Rough, hand-drawn animation and the satisfying crunch of breaking statues make for an addictive feel. The game features 59 stages, and an endless mode unlocks after you clear the game.
Failing a rhythm stage doesn’t end your journey. The story goes on.
But every time you fail, you must pierce the ear of Asha, your childhood friend.
Brush back her hair, heat the needle, and push it through her ear. PIERCING is a painful yet sensual piercing simulator that recreates every step of the process. With each failure, another piercing appears on her ear.
The game features 30 types of earrings.

A free demo is already available on Steam. It includes the opening section of the game and a high-difficulty stage exclusive to the demo.
