Indie developer and publisher iDiOSLAB and NGJ has announced Delve Survivors, an ambitious new dungeon-crawling adventure that blends the DNA of classic old-school roguelikes, with the fast-paced thrills of modern survivor style games. Planned release is estimated on PC Q4 2026 with console releases to follow Q1 2027.
Massive Appeal!
Built for players who love the thrill of the unknown, Delve Survivors invites adventurers to plunge into dangerous depths, battle relentless enemies, gather powerful upgrades, and push further with every run. Its retro-inspired aesthetic and compelling gameplay loop capture the magic of classic dungeon crawlers, while delivering the immediate, pick-up-and-play excitement of today’s survivors genre.
For retro-game fans and newcomers alike, Delve Survivors offers endless replayability, with every run bringing new challenges, discoveries, and reasons to delve deeper.
Delve Survivors throws you into procedurally generated dungeons, blasting through enemy hordes for rare floors and even rarer loot. Every action advances time, letting you control the pace – from fast and frantic to slow and methodical.
Pure But Not So Simple
Unlike traditional action-heavy survivors games, you control the pace of battle. Move on a grid, with every action advancing time. Attacks trigger automatically when you engage enemies, while skills run on turn-based cooldowns. Position carefully, unleash devastating attacks, apply status effects, summon allies, and fight through ever-growing hordes.
Survive or..?
Players can battle massive enemy swarms, create powerful builds with skills, AoEs, status effects, summons, and synergies, and hunt for gear across multiple rarity tiers. Customize equipment and stats, take on elite enemies and challenging bosses, and return to the Town Hub to upgrade gear, improve stats, exchange items, and prepare for the next wave. Plus lots more to be revealed soon.
Ways to Play!
Choose your own adventure: Delve Survivors offers three ways to play. Casual lets you explore with minimal consequences. Roguelite resets the world while preserving character progression. Hardcore means permadeath: lose your run, lose your progress, and maybe your sanity.
Inspirational – East Meets West!
And if you survive the hordes, a rumoured 100-floor endgame, a mega-dungeon awaits. Inspired by classic roguelikes like Rogue, Angband, and Tales of Maj’Eyal, alongside modern action roguelikes such as Vampire Survivors, Death Must Die, Halls of Torment, and Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. East meets West brings the depth of a classic dungeon crawler to fast-paced 15–30 minute runs, with a full PC release planned for November 2026 with consoles to follow.
