Independent Italian studio Doesn’t Matter Games has released a new official trailer for Noctiria, its urban horror roguelite deckbuilder launching for Windows PC via Steam on September 18, 2026.
Set in a corroded, filthy and diseased city trapped in the atmosphere of the 1990s, Noctiria combines strategic card-based combat with psychological and urban horror.
Players choose from six distinct heroes, each featuring a different starting deck, card pool, progression system and central gameplay mechanic. Runs unfold across branching maps filled with battles, elite encounters, disturbing events, merchants, treasures, rest sites and bosses.
Combat revolves around reading enemy intentions and building increasingly powerful interactions between cards, status effects and other systems. Players can develop radically different strategies while progressing permanently between runs, unlocking additional heroes, cards, upgrades and customization.
The journey is also shaped by Corruption, a system connected to risk, survival, encounters, rest and other decisions made throughout a run.
