Bark Bark Games and Glowstick Entertainment, the developers behind The Bagman and Dark Deception, have announced that the sequel to the hit horror adventure game House, House 2 will launch August 28th on Steam. For those looking forward to experiencing the dread dwelling on console and mobile will have to wait just one month more.
If you thought you were free from the macabre and terrifying clutches of a house hellbent on ending your life in the most gruesome ways, then you were wrong! The nightmares are coming from within the walls, and Tabby must survive every monstrous entity thrown at her and break the curse that threatens her family. One more: you must race against the clock to try and escape a deadly time-loop of this evil house.
GAME FEATURES:
- New Art Style: The sequel sees a departure from the retro pixel graphics in favour of a hand-drawn storybook art style.
- Explore a house that changes and responds to your actions in real-time: You’re stuck in a living, breathing cursed construct and what you decide to do or not will be met with a reaction.
- Experiment with different items to try and survive: Aside from your snail pal Marty you’re not alone in facing unspeakable evil, not if you count the variety of tools you can use to make it through.
- Challenging, non-linear gameplay with multiple endings: Your decisions have an impact on how well or badly things will end for Tabby.
- Play PS1-inspired games on the BarkStation: Take a break from being haunted and hunted and check out some fun minigames, like Kimiko’s Curse 2.
- Die in gruesomely elaborate ways: Each time you succumb to a domestic abomination, you’ll see Tabby’s demise expressed in a range of cool hand-drawn animation styles.
