Independent developer Team Neverending has released a free Steam demo for Rookie Raiders, a turn-based roguelite auto-battler scheduled to launch on PC in February 2027.
The demo features 4 playable rookies and 3 dungeons, offering a first hands-on look at the game’s core party-building and build-crafting systems.
In Rookie Raiders, players choose three characters from a roster of 14 and combine their unique skills and relics to create different builds. Battles are fully automated and play out in turns, while players shape each run through party composition, skill and relic synthesis, rewards, and dungeon choices.
Character interactions are also part of each run, with dialogue and hidden stories changing depending on the companions, dungeons, and items encountered along the way.
Rookie Raiders will also participate in Steam Next Fest in October 2026.
