Independent studio Castello Inc today announced that the Steam playtest for its 4-player online co-op game Stink Buddies is now open. Anyone can join and get instant access from the Steam store page — no waitlist, no approval delay.
In Stink Buddies, you and up to three friends play as dung beetles with one job: roll a massive ball home through predators, obstacles, and pure physics mayhem. Squad up, push together, and try not to lose everything when the plan (or the ball) goes sideways. Every run is equal parts teamwork and beautiful disaster — because real buddies just roll with it.
The playtest offers about one hour of gameplay, taking players through the opening stretch of the game up to the first boss: the Evil Rabbit. Stink Buddies supports up to 4 players in online co-op.
