Korean indie studio HiddenStageGames has released a free Steam demo for LumberBoy, a cozy pixel-art incremental game about logging a small island. The game will take part in Steam Next Fest in October 2026.
Players start with a single axe and a single worker. Felling trees earns money, and that money buys conveyors, a sawmill and a market stall — until the whole island is running on a production line the player has built and can watch tick over, rendered in hand-drawn isometric pixel art.
The demo runs 40 minutes to an hour and includes three forest areas and 34 trait upgrades. It supports keyboard and mouse or controller, and runs on Steam Deck. Available languages include English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese.
