Deege Games announces that Haunted House Hellshift, a top-down arcade shooter with a campy haunted-house theme, will participate in Steam Next Fest, October 19–26, 2026. Players can try the free Steam demo now, ahead of the game’s planned November 9 release for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
In Haunted House Hellshift, players fight through a haunted house while a live TV audience watches. Shoot undead television crews, dodge traps, and collect eyeballs to unlock doors as you search for the exit.
Solo developer DJ Spiess drew inspiration from arcade classics such as Gauntlet. The emphasis is on fast shooting and dodging, with a campy tone closer to Saturday-morning spooky cartoons than serious horror. Play alone or with a friend in local two-player co-op.
