IDIOCRACY, INC., a four person indie studio based in South Korea, releases Wacky! Deer & Munk Adventure on Steam on August 12, 2026. The game first launched on Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2026.
About the Game
You can’t do it alone. Together, you absolutely can.
The Pig King’s army made off with every acorn in the village, and two friends set out to get them back. Deer hauls things around. Munk squeezes through the tight spots. And when there’s no way forward, you make one.
Reading the stage and picking the right hero for the job. That’s the whole game.
The Choice Is the Puzzle
Wacky! Deer & Munk Adventure is a single player focused puzzle platformer built around two characters with very different abilities. Players can tag between Deer and Munk at any time, and at first glance the choice looks free. It is not. Every section is designed so that one of the two is clearly the better answer, and finding that answer is the actual puzzle. Nothing forces the switch. The level does the persuading.
The game contains 200 single player stages across 10 worlds, plus 10 stages built specifically for local co-op. Rather than introducing a new gimmick every world, the design keeps the base rules intact from start to finish and raises the skill required instead. Familiarity itself becomes the difficulty.
What Is New in the Steam Version
The Steam release is not a straight port. Over the two months since the Switch launch, the studio collected feedback from players and reviewers and reworked the game across the board. Character ability balance and the late game difficulty curve were retuned, item pricing and the character switch UI were revised, art assets received a broad quality pass, and the soundtrack was newly produced with live recorded instruments.
The same improvements are coming to the Nintendo Switch version. The update is currently in certification and will roll out once approved.
