A major new update for the Agecraft demo is now available as part of Ukrainian Games Festival 2026. The game puts players in charge of a civilization growing from a Stone Age settlement into a futuristic state.
Alongside the update, solo developer Denys Plevako (SnakyDevelop) has released a new trailer showcasing one of Agecraft’s eight historical eras: the Bronze Age.
Agecraft is a real-time city-building strategy game combining population management, physical logistics, technological progress, diplomacy, and warfare. Every citizen has a home, a job, and individual needs, while resources must be produced, stored, and physically transported between buildings.
Over the course of the game, players guide their civilization through eight historical eras. Each introduces new technologies, materials, production chains, infrastructure, and military capabilities, forcing players to rethink and rebuild the economy inherited from the previous age.
Agecraft is currently in development for PC and is scheduled for release in Q4 2026. The demo is available now on Steam.
Key Features
- Eight historical eras: Guide your civilization from the Stone Age through the Bronze Age, Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Industrial Age, the Modern era, and beyond
- Every citizen matters: Manage your population down to the individual level. Everyone needs a home, a job, food, water, warmth, clothing, and medical care.
- Physical logistics: Resources are transported between workshops and farms, while the placement of warehouses and roads determines the efficiency of your entire settlement.
- Diplomacy and expansion: Trade with your neighbors, exchange gifts, strike deals, wage war, or convince other settlements to join your state.
- Armies and battles: Plan campaigns on the strategic map, then issue tactical orders in 3D battles. Every soldier you recruit is one less worker contributing to your settlement’s economy.
- History never stands still: Industries that define one age become obsolete in the next. Every new epoch forces you to rethink what you have built.
